CORPORATE SIGNATURE

The corporate signature is the major visual element of the brand identity and comprises the logo type (International Academy of Film and Television) and the camera man symbol in a fixed relationship.

   

Artwork Integrity
The camera man symbol and the logo type are unique to IAFT, never attempt to recreate it. Use of the camera man must be carefully controlled.

 

The corporate signatures must always be reproduced from original digital artwork supplied by the Creative Services Department.

   

Usage

The corporate signature is used to brand all corporate stationery items and it should be used in all marketing materials.

PROTECTED AREA

To enable the corporate signatures to appear prominently without interference, a minimum exclusion area has been established which is to be left clear of other graphic elements or text.

 

The protected area is equal to the height of the IAFT lettering and is indicated by the illustration shown. The clearance area should be increased wherever possible.

CORPORATE COLOURS

IAFT's corporate colours are maroon, black and white.

   

Colour reprodcution
Colours may be reproduced using specially mixed colours or may be simulated using the four colour halftone process (see breakdown charts).

   

IAFT maroon can be achieved using PANTONE® 188 C.

In order for the corporate signature to be adaptable with the requirements of a layout, four variations are provided as illustrated.

 

Strictly no other variations can be used.

MINIMUM REPRODUCTION SIZE OF THE CORPORATE SIGNATURE

To enable the corporate signatures to appear prominently, a minimum reproduction size is set indicated by the illustrations shown.

 

Use of the corporate signature smaller than indicated can not be used without the prior approval from the Creative Services Department.

COLOUR REPRODUCTION OF THE CORPORATE SIGNATURE

Preferred colour versions
Whenever possible IAFT corporate signatures should be reproduce in maroon on very light background colours.

 

On dark backgrounds the IAFT logotype reverses white out of the background colour.

   

Backgrounds
The corporate signature must always be clearly visible. The background should not be distracting and must always provide sufficient contrast for the brand to be clearly read.

Artwork Integrity
The illustrations shown are violations of the corporate signature application and must be avoided. Never attempt to recreate or distort the logo as indicated.

The setting style for all type is upper and lower case, left justified.

Print Sizes

Recommended print sizes are illustrated in the chart. The print sizes illustrated are recommended but are not mandatory.

Imagery

Any high quality type of visual imagery can be used. Recommended resolution is 300 dpi. Images should be approved by the Creative Services Department prior to its usage.

Content requirement

All marketing, promotional and sponsorship material must have the corporate signature, URL and contact details (if applicable).

   
 

Compliance statement

All marketing, promotional and sponsorship material and merchandising must be cleared by the Creative Services Department.
